Earlier today, voters trekked to the polls to cast their votes in party primaries. Ballots served as voices for voters, and the statements were loud and clear. In the Conservative Party primary for Surrogate Court Judge, voters overwhelmingly supported Assemblyman Castorina over Public Administrator Catalano. Castorina secured Conservative the line and defeated Catalano, the party’s endorsed candidate, by a margin of 67 percent to 33 percent.

On the matter, Assemblyman Ron Castorina said, “This was a monumental victory for team Castorina. I’m honored that Conservative’s chose me as their candidate for Surrogate Court Judge. I have always been a Republican and a Conservative and I take pride in carrying both party lines in this race.”
